Bryton Corporation

Bryton was a U.S. healthcare equipment company focused on manufacturing, remanufacturing, and distributing medical equipment, supplies, and accessories used in surgical, labor and delivery, emergency, and sterile processing settings. The company served hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics with products such as surgical surfaces, patient positioning and transfer equipment, stainless steel case goods, cabinetry, lighting, and sterile processing devices. Bryton emphasized practical perioperative equipment and refurbishing capabilities rather than drug development. The business was founded in 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was later sold to STERIS in 2020. As a result, Bryton should be treated as a former standalone company whose operations were absorbed into the broader STERIS healthcare portfolio.
