BTA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. was a pharmaceutical company that operated as a primary distribution and commercialization subsidiary of Biovail Corporation (now Bausch Health). Based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, the company was responsible for the U.S. marketing and distribution of Biovail's specialty pharmaceutical portfolio, which included high-profile branded medications such as Cardizem (diltiazem), Ativan (lorazepam), and Wellbutrin XL (bupropion). BTA also served as a legal entity for patent filings and litigation in the United States. Following the 2010 merger between Biovail and Valeant Pharmaceuticals, BTA's operations were consolidated into the combined organization, which eventually rebranded as Bausch Health Companies.
