Founded in 1982, the BDB acts as a primary facilitator for companies looking to relocate or expand in the region, with a major strategic focus on the life sciences and healthcare sectors. The organization provides a suite of complimentary services, including site selection, expedited permitting, and introductions to local talent and capital networks. By fostering a robust ecosystem that includes world-class research institutes and over 700 life science companies, the BDB plays a critical role in positioning the Palm Beaches as a premier global hub for biotechnology and medical innovation. It also manages the Life Science Advisory Council, which aligns industry needs with academic and government resources.
