C-Sept

C-Sept was a medical technology company that developed a microfluidic platform designed for the rapid diagnosis of sepsis. The company's technology focused on the high-throughput separation and enrichment of rare cells, specifically pathogens, directly from whole blood without the need for traditional blood cultures. By enabling the isolation of bacteria and fungi in a fraction of the time required by conventional methods, C-Sept sought to accelerate the delivery of targeted antimicrobial therapies.
