Cabbacis develops consumer health-focused alternatives to conventional cigarettes using proprietary blends of very-low-nicotine tobacco and hemp. Their patented technologies include reduced nicotine cigarettes and vaporizer pods designed to help adult smokers reduce their intake, switch to less harmful options, or quit entirely. Clinical studies cited by the company show that similar very-low-nicotine cigarettes can significantly reduce smoking rates, dependence, exposure to nicotine/toxins, increase quit attempts/smoke-free days—but these results are based on the general class rather than specific Cabbacis-branded products so far. The company holds an extensive global patent portfolio covering its core technologies across major markets including the US, Europe, China, Japan etc., has begun commercial-scale planting of its proprietary crops,[7] acquired key IP such as the iBlend™ brand,[3] licensed additional technology from NCSU,[7], and recently launched an IPO via Regulation A aiming at further development/commercialization.[5]
