Caitlin Raymond International Registry

The Caitlin Raymond International Registry (CRIR) was a specialized bone marrow donor registry based in Worcester, Massachusetts, and operated as a subsidiary of UMass Memorial Health Care. Founded in 1986, the registry focused on identifying and matching unrelated bone marrow donors for patients with life-threatening blood diseases such as leukemia and lymphoma. CRIR played a significant role in expanding the global pool of potential donors and facilitating hematopoietic stem cell transplants. In 2013, following organizational restructuring and changes in the national registry landscape, its donor management operations were transitioned to the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), now known as Be The Match.
