Calcitek

Calcitek was a pioneering medical device company specializing in dental implants and bone regenerative materials. Headquartered in Carlsbad, California, the company was well-known for its Spline Dental Implant System and its line of synthetic bone grafting products, including OsteoGraf. Calcitek was instrumental in the clinical adoption of hydroxyapatite-coated implants and served as a major distributor for regenerative biologics. The company was acquired by Zimmer Holdings in 2003 as part of the Centerpulse acquisition, eventually becoming a foundational component of Zimmer Dental. Today, its legacy products continue to be marketed under the Zimmer Biomet Dental portfolio.
