California Association of Health Plans

The California Association of Health Plans (CAHP) is a non-profit trade association representing 44 public and private health care plans that provide coverage to more than 26 million Californians. Based in Sacramento, the organization serves as the primary advocacy voice for the health insurance industry before the California State Legislature, the Governor's office, and regulatory agencies such as the Department of Managed Health Care. CAHP's mission is to promote affordable, high-quality health care through proactive advocacy, member education, and the development of sustainable health policy. The association also hosts a major annual conference that brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss the evolving landscape of managed care and health reform in California.
