Cambie Surgery Centre

Cambie Surgery Centre is a Vancouver-based private multi-specialty surgical facility that provides commercially available surgical care across orthopaedics, spine/neurosurgery, plastic and cosmetic surgery, general surgery, and ophthalmology. The centre focuses on minimally invasive and elective procedures and serves patients from British Columbia, elsewhere in Canada, and international markets. Founded in the mid-1990s and opened in May 1996, it describes itself as Canada’s first free-standing private hospital of its type and reports having treated more than 90,000 patients. In addition to private-pay services, the centre has promoted programs for certain orthopaedic procedures for eligible B.C. residents and out-of-province patients.
