Cambridge Heartware

HeartWare was a cardiovascular medical device company focused on mechanical circulatory support for patients with advanced heart failure. Its core product franchise was the HVAD System, a miniaturized left ventricular assist device used as durable circulatory support, including bridge-to-transplant and other advanced heart-failure settings. The company was publicly traded on Nasdaq as HTWR before being acquired by Medtronic in August 2016.
