Cambrium designs and manufactures novel material building blocks using biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Its flagship product NovaColl™—a micro-molecular collagen produced by precision fermentation—is used in skincare. Cambrium’s AI-driven molecular design platform enables rapid development of high-performance sustainable molecules ("Supermolecules™") that outperform traditional chemical ingredients while reducing environmental impact. The company has raised over $13M since its founding in Berlin in 2020 and partners with contract manufacturers to scale production.
