The Canadian Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation (CHSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Canadians living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). Founded in 2014, the foundation focuses on three main pillars: education, advocacy, and research. CHSF provides essential resources for patients and healthcare providers, including clinical practice guidelines and educational programs like the HS Academy for dermatology residents. The organization co-hosts the annual Symposium on Hidradenitis Suppurativa Advances (SHSA), the premier assembly for HS researchers in North America. Through its initiatives, CHSF aims to reduce the time to diagnosis and optimize the management of this chronic inflammatory skin disease.
