Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council

Established in 2018, the CNIC is dedicated to maintaining and advancing Canada's position as a global leader in the production of life-saving medical isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals. The council advocates for long-term, science-based public policies that support healthcare innovation, safeguard the isotope supply chain, and drive economic growth. Through initiatives like the 'Isotopes for Hope' campaign, the CNIC works to double domestic isotope production by 2030 to meet the rising global demand for precision cancer therapies and diagnostic imaging.
