Cancer-Bio-Sante Cluster

Cancer-Bio-Santé (CBS) was a French competitiveness cluster dedicated to the healthcare and life sciences sectors, primarily based in the Occitanie and Limousin regions. Established in 2005, the cluster focused on three main pillars: oncology, aging (silver economy), and digital health. It served as a catalyst for innovation by facilitating partnerships between academic researchers, clinical centers, and industrial players. The organization provided support for R&D projects, international development, and business growth for its members. In January 2019, CBS merged with Eurobiomed to form a unified health cluster in Southern France, enhancing the regional ecosystem's global competitiveness. This merger combined the strengths of the Occitanie, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, and Limousin regions to create a leading European health hub.
