Company intelligence / Profile preview
Cancer Centers of Florida (CCF) was a leading regional oncology and hematology medical practice based in Central Florida, with its primary headquarters in Orlando. Established in 1994, the practice expanded to include multiple locations in Ocoee, Winter Park, and Clermont, providing comprehensive cancer care services such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. As a member of the US Oncology Network, CCF was heavily involved in clinical research, offering patients access to a wide array of Phase I through Phase III clinical trials for various malignancies. The organization was led by Dr. Barry Berman and was recognized for its community-based approach to specialized oncology care. In 2011, Cancer Centers of Florida merged with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), one of the largest independent oncology practices in the United States. Following the merger, CCF's facilities and medical staff were integrated into the FCS network, continuing their mission under the new parent organization.
