Company intelligence / Profile preview
Cancer Research Campaign Technology (CRCT) was the commercial and technology transfer arm of the Cancer Research Campaign (CRC) in the United Kingdom. Established to bridge the gap between academic research and the pharmaceutical industry, CRCT specialized in the development and licensing of oncology-related intellectual property. In 2002, CRCT merged with the technology transfer unit of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund to form Cancer Research Technology (CRT) following the creation of Cancer Research UK. The entity has been instrumental in the clinical development of blockbuster cancer therapies such as temozolomide and abiraterone acetate. It now operates under the brand Cancer Research Horizons, continuing to advance a robust pipeline of cancer drugs, diagnostics, and technologies through global partnerships.
