Canna-Cures Research and Development Center, Inc. was a Florida-based biotechnology company focused on the research, development, and distribution of medical cannabis and hemp-derived products. Founded by Richard Pertile, the company specialized in the extraction of high-cannabidiol (CBD) and low-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) oils using proprietary technology. Its business model encompassed the entire value chain, from genetic seed selection and cultivation to pharmaceutical-grade processing and retail distribution. In 2016, the company was acquired by Acacia Diversified Holdings, although the acquisition was later rescinded. Canna-Cures aimed to advance the therapeutic use of cannabinoids for various health conditions, with a particular focus on developing pediatric-targeted formulations and dietary supplements.
