Cannador

Cannador is a pharmaceutical-grade, standardized oral cannabis extract developed by the Institute for Clinical Research (IKF) in Berlin, Germany. The product is formulated as a whole-plant extract containing a 2:1 ratio of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) to cannabidiol (CBD) and is administered in capsule form. It has been evaluated in several large-scale clinical trials, most notably the CAMS (Cannabinoids in Multiple Sclerosis) study, for the treatment of spasticity and pain associated with multiple sclerosis. While the extract demonstrated significant subjective improvements in patient-reported symptoms, it faced challenges in meeting primary objective endpoints in some trials. The development program also explored indications in post-operative pain management and cancer-related anorexia and cachexia.
