Capitol Anesthesiology Association

Capitol Anesthesiology Association (CAA) was one of the largest independent anesthesiology practices in the United States, headquartered in Austin, Texas. The group provided comprehensive anesthesia services across a wide range of medical specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics, cardiac surgery, and pediatric care. CAA served numerous hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers throughout the Central Texas region, maintaining a large staff of board-certified anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs). In 2015, the association was acquired by U.S. Anesthesia Partners (USAP), a leading physician-owned anesthesia clinical enterprise. Following the acquisition, CAA's operations were integrated into the USAP network to leverage broader clinical resources and data analytics.
