Caradyne was an Irish medical technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of non-invasive respiratory support systems. The company's flagship product line, WhisperFlow, provided continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and other ventilation solutions for patients with respiratory distress or sleep-disordered breathing. Founded in Galway, Ireland, Caradyne established a strong presence in the global respiratory care market before its acquisition. In 2004, the company was acquired by Respironics for approximately $42 million, and its technologies were subsequently integrated into the Philips healthcare portfolio following Philips' acquisition of Respironics.
