Cardiac Hospitals of America (CHA) was a Sioux Falls-based healthcare development and management company that specialized in the creation of physician-owned specialty heart hospitals. Founded by Dr. Robert Meese and other partners, the company focused on a business model that partnered with local cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons to build and operate high-efficiency, patient-centered cardiac facilities. Notable projects developed by CHA include the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, the Kansas Heart Hospital, and the Heart Hospital of New Mexico.
