Cardiac Risk in the Young

Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a UK-based charitable organization founded in 1995 dedicated to preventing young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD) and sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS). The charity provides bereavement support to affected families, offers subsidized ECG and echocardiogram screening clinics for young people aged 14 to 35, and funds medical research into inherited cardiac conditions. CRY also supports the CRY Centre for Cardiac Pathology at St George's Hospital, London, which provides expert pathology services to investigate sudden cardiac deaths. Through its advocacy, screening programs, and research funding, CRY aims to improve early diagnosis and management of potentially life-threatening heart conditions.
