Overview

CardioKinetix developed the Parachute® Ventricular Partitioning Device, a first-in-class minimally invasive catheter-based implant for patients with ischemic heart failure. Clinical trials in the U.S., Europe, and China demonstrated statistically significant improvements in left ventricular function and New York Heart Association class. The device received CE Mark approval in Europe but remained investigational in the United States. Three-year follow-up data showed sustained improvement with low rates of cardiac death and hospitalization compared to standard therapy[1][4][5].
