Care City

Care City is a UK-based not-for-profit health and care innovation organization focused on improving how health and social care are designed and delivered, particularly for healthier ageing and community regeneration. Founded in 2013 in Barking, it works with local people, NHS and local government partners, researchers, and the voluntary sector to design, test, and spread practical service innovations. Its activities span research, innovation pilots, workforce development, digital and sensor-enabled care, dementia support tools, and medicines-related community engagement. Rather than developing drugs, Care City operates as an applied health innovation and implementation partner helping health and care systems evaluate and adopt real-world solutions.
