CareFlite

CareFlite is a non-profit 501(c)(3) emergency medical services provider headquartered in Grand Prairie, Texas. Established in 1979, it serves as a joint venture sponsored by major North Texas healthcare systems, including Baylor Scott & White Health, JPS Health Network, Methodist Health System, Parkland Health, and Texas Health Resources. The organization provides comprehensive medical transportation solutions, including emergency helicopter and fixed-wing air ambulance services, ground ambulance transport, and 911 emergency response. CareFlite is recognized as the oldest joint-use air medical program in the United States and operates multiple bases across the North Texas region. In addition to emergency services, the company offers a membership program to help residents manage the costs of medical transport.
