Carsen Group Inc. was a prominent Canadian distributor specializing in medical, industrial, and consumer imaging technologies. For over 50 years, the company served as the exclusive Canadian distributor for Olympus, providing essential medical devices such as flexible endoscopes, surgical instruments, and microscopy systems to healthcare facilities and research institutions. In 2006, the company was acquired by Olympus Corporation of the Americas to establish a direct sales, marketing, and service presence in the Canadian market. Following the acquisition, its operations were integrated into the newly formed Olympus Canada. The company played a critical role in the adoption of minimally invasive diagnostic and surgical technologies across Canada.
