Carter-Glogau Laboratories was a pharmaceutical company based in Glendale, Arizona, specializing in the manufacture of generic sterile injectable drug products. Founded in 1967, the company grew to become a significant supplier of a wide range of injectable medications, including vitamins, hormones, and other therapeutic agents. In 1986, the company was acquired by Retron Corp and began operating as Steris Laboratories. It was subsequently acquired by Schein Pharmaceutical in 1994 for approximately $85 million. The company's facilities and product lines eventually became part of Watson Pharmaceuticals following further industry consolidation.
