Carter-Horner was a prominent Canadian pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company based in Montreal, Quebec. The company was formed through the integration of Frank W. Horner Ltd., a firm founded in 1912, and the Canadian operations of Carter-Wallace. It was widely recognized for manufacturing and marketing iconic Canadian over-the-counter brands such as Gravol, Diovol, and Ovol. In 2001, following the global sale of Carter-Wallace, Carter-Horner's consumer products business was acquired by Church & Dwight. The company's legacy continues through its established product portfolio, which remains a staple in the Canadian healthcare market under its parent organization.
