Cartilix

Cartilix was a regenerative medicine company focused on developing biomimetic materials for the repair and regeneration of articular cartilage. The company's lead product, ChonDux, is a light-curable hydrogel designed to be used in conjunction with microfracture surgery to enhance the biological repair of cartilage defects. Founded based on technology from Johns Hopkins University, Cartilix aimed to provide a less invasive and more effective solution for patients suffering from joint injuries. The company's platform technology utilized photopolymerizable hydrogels that provide a temporary scaffold for cell attachment and tissue growth.
