Company intelligence / Profile preview
Carville was a UK-based precision plastics and medical-device component manufacturer focused on custom multilayer fluidic manifolds, microfluidic assemblies, optics, and machined plastic components for medical, diagnostics, and life science applications. Its core capability was diffusion bonding and precision machining of engineering plastics such as PMMA, polycarbonate, PEEK, Ultem, and related materials. The company served OEMs and research customers rather than developing therapeutic drug programs, so it was healthcare-related through tools, devices, and enabling components instead of biopharma products. Carville ceased operations at the end of June 2024, and its bonded-manifold process technologies and production facilities were taken over by Festo for use in laboratory automation and medical technology. As of April 2026, the legal entity Carville Limited is dissolved.
