Overview
Lead candidate CPD100Li has demonstrated strong preclinical activity in hypoxic solid tumor models. The compound selectively activates under low oxygen conditions typical of solid tumors and converts to cytotoxic vinblastine only within the tumor microenvironment. Preclinical data show a significant increase in susceptibility of tumor cells to CPD100Li under hypoxic conditions. The company received FDA Orphan Drug Designation for CPD100Li for pancreatic cancer but has not yet entered clinical trials.[6][7]
