Castle Creek Biosciences is a clinical-stage cell and gene therapy company focused on developing and commercializing disease-modifying therapies for patients with rare genetic diseases. The company utilizes a proprietary autologous fibroblast technology platform to deliver localized and systemic gene therapies. Its lead candidate, dabocemagene autoficel (D-EBT-101), is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB). Castle Creek is also advancing a pipeline of candidates for other dermatologic and metabolic conditions, including localized scleroderma and phenylketonuria.
