China Biopharma, Inc. (CBPC) was a biopharmaceutical company primarily focused on the development, manufacturing, and distribution of human vaccine products in the Chinese market. The company held a significant market share in China for its Epidemic Hemorrhagic Fever (EHF) vaccine and distributed other critical vaccines including those for Influenza and Japanese Encephalitis. CBPC operated through strategic joint ventures, most notably with Zhejiang Tianyuan Bio-Pharmaceutical, to leverage local manufacturing and distribution networks. While the company was active in the mid-2000s with a pipeline including avian flu and allergy vaccines, its primary partner Zhejiang Tianyuan was later acquired by Novartis, and CBPC's operations have since become inactive.
