The unit utilizes proprietary technology platforms to target "undruggable" proteins involved in age-related conditions and genetically inherited diseases. Its primary focus areas include sirtuin activators for conditions such as infertility, neurodegeneration, and metabolic disorders, as well as translational readthrough-inducing drugs (TRIDs) for genetic disorders caused by nonsense mutations, such as cystic fibrosis and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. By leveraging computational biophysics and DNA-encoded libraries, the company aims to overcome the limitations of traditional small molecule inhibitors.
