Company intelligence / Profile preview
Celea Therapeutics is advancing deupirfenidone (LYT-100), a deuterated small molecule analog of pirfenidone, for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). In a Phase 2b trial, deupirfenidone demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in lung function decline versus placebo and pirfenidone at 26 weeks, with a favourable safety and tolerability profile. Open-label extension data show maintained efficacy and safety over 52 weeks. Celea is preparing for Phase 3 trials as of late 2025.
