Celgene Cellular Therapeutics (CCT) was the specialized cell therapy division of Celgene Corporation, focused on developing regenerative medicines and immunotherapies. The company was established following the acquisition of Anthrogenesis Corporation and became a leader in the research of human placental-derived stem cells. CCT's pipeline included treatments for autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and hematologic malignancies. Following the $74 billion acquisition of Celgene by Bristol Myers Squibb in 2019, CCT's assets and expertise were integrated into BMS's industry-leading cell therapy franchise. This integration supported the commercialization of breakthrough CAR-T therapies like Abecma and Breyanzi.
