Cellares has developed the Cell Shuttle™, an automated end-to-end cell therapy manufacturing platform that increases productivity up to 10x compared with conventional CDMOs, reduces costs by up to 50%, and lowers process failure rates by 75%. The company’s Smart Factories in South San Francisco and Bridgewater provide preclinical through commercial-scale services. Recent collaborations include automating clinical-scale production of CRISPR-edited CAR-T therapies for solid tumors with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. No direct clinical results are reported as Cellares is a service/platform provider.
