The company's lead candidate, CCG-TH32, was intended to treat patients following a heart attack by facilitating the repair of damaged cardiac tissue through targeted cell delivery. However, the company became the subject of a significant SEC investigation for allegedly making fraudulent claims regarding its clinical progress and the efficacy of its technology. As a result of these legal challenges and the subsequent collapse of its stock value, the company ceased operations and is currently defunct.
