Cellegy Australia was the regional subsidiary of Cellegy Pharmaceuticals, a specialty biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of prescription drugs using transdermal and topical delivery technologies. The company's portfolio primarily targeted gastrointestinal disorders and endocrine health, featuring lead products such as Cellegesic (nitroglycerin ointment) for chronic anal fissures and Fortigel, a testosterone replacement gel. Cellegy Australia managed clinical development and commercial interests within the Australian and broader Asia-Pacific markets. Following significant regulatory hurdles and a strategic reorganization, the parent company merged with Adamis Pharmaceuticals in 2009.
