Company intelligence / Profile preview
CellPoint developed a decentralized, automated point-of-care CAR-T cell therapy manufacturing platform enabling vein-to-vein times as short as one week. Their lead program was a proprietary CD19 CAR-T therapy in Phase1/2a trials at the time of their acquisition by Galapagos in June 2022. The company aimed to make cell therapies more accessible and affordable by shifting production closer to patients.[1][2][3]
After the acquisition, all clinical development and updates are managed under Galapagos.
Clinical results have not been detailed publicly beyond early-stage trial status.
Pipeline breadth at time of acquisition included at least one clinical-stage program; post-acquisition, Galapagos has three active CAR-T programs in oncology.[6]
