Company intelligence / Profile preview
Centennial HealthCare was a major American provider of long-term healthcare services, specializing in the operation of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the company managed a large network of centers providing post-acute care, sub-acute care, and assisted living services across more than 20 states. During the late 1990s, it was one of the largest nursing home operators in the United States, serving thousands of patients requiring geriatric and rehabilitative care. The company eventually filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2002 following significant financial pressures and regulatory changes in Medicare reimbursement, leading to the divestiture of its facilities to various other healthcare operators.
