The Center for Health Transformation (CHT) was a for-profit health policy think tank and consulting firm founded in 2003 by former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. The organization focused on promoting market-based healthcare reforms, including the widespread adoption of electronic health records, personalized medicine, and incentivizing health outcomes. CHT operated as a membership-based organization, bringing together stakeholders from the pharmaceutical, insurance, and technology sectors to collaborate on policy solutions. The company provided strategic consulting and research to its members, which included major industry players like Pfizer and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Following financial difficulties and Gingrich's 2012 presidential campaign, the organization filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and ceased operations in April 2012.
