Center for Medical Simulation

Center for Medical Simulation is a Boston-based nonprofit healthcare simulation organization that provides simulation-based education, faculty development, consulting, and team training for healthcare professionals and institutions. Founded in 1993, it is one of the earliest dedicated healthcare simulation centers and focuses on improving patient safety, quality of care, teamwork, communication, leadership, and crisis resource management. Its offerings include simulation instructor training, debriefing education, leadership coaching, clinical team training, and system-level applied learning programs such as ALPS and ATLAS. CMS also supports healthcare organizations with customized simulation programs, human factors and usability work, and international affiliate relationships. The organization is affiliated with the Harvard ecosystem and serves hospitals, health systems, health professions schools, and educators globally.
