Center for Ophthalmic and Vision Research

The Center for Ophthalmic and Vision Research (COVR) serves as the independent research affiliate of Eye Associates of New York. It specializes in the research and development of ophthalmic devices and ocular pharmaceuticals. The center manages all aspects of clinical trials from protocol development through data analysis/publication, with a team experienced in both basic science and applied/clinical vision science. COVR has over three decades of experience in ophthalmics R&D, including custom device prototyping, specialized testing equipment/software development, GCP-certified staff, extensive publication record (>80 publications/presentations), patent co-inventorships, academic collaborations, access to a large/diverse patient population in NYC for recruitment needs. Recent partnerships include collaboration with SCOPE Health Inc. to develop new technologies targeting dry eye disease.
