Center for Progressive Renewal

The Center for Progressive Renewal, now known as Convergence, is a non-profit organization and consultancy that provides leadership development, strategic planning, and renewal services for progressive Christian congregations. Founded in 2010, the organization focuses on church planting and revitalizing existing faith communities through an inclusive and social justice-oriented lens. While primarily a religious entity, it gained recognition in the digital health and wellness space by incubating EvolVR, a virtual reality meditation community that was acquired by the VR health company Tripp in 2022. Today, the organization continues its mission under the Convergence brand, offering online learning, coaching, and consulting services to faith leaders and organizations. It operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
