Center for Supply Chain Studies

The Center for Supply Chain Studies (C4SCS) is a non-profit research and educational organization dedicated to improving the healthcare and pharmaceutical supply chain. It serves as a neutral forum where industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare providers, collaborate to address complex regulatory and operational challenges. A primary focus of the Center is the implementation of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and the development of interoperable traceability standards. Through its ReferenceModel studies, the organization simulates supply chain processes to evaluate the impact of emerging technologies such as blockchain and Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS). The Center's work is instrumental in helping the industry ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the global drug supply.
