Centerchem is a specialty chemical and functional ingredients distributor headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut. The company supplies ingredients and related technical support across personal care, food and nutrition, pharmaceutical ingredients, flavors, fine chemicals, and biochemical/diagnostic markets. Founded in 1948, it built a network of domestic and international manufacturing principals and developed capabilities in technical sales, market insight, regulatory and transportation know-how, and strategically located inventory support. In August 2021, Centerchem was acquired by LBB Specialties and now operates as a legacy brand within that organization.
