Central and Eastern European Gynecologic Oncology Group

The Central and Eastern European Gynecologic Oncology Group (CEEGOG) is a prominent academic research organization (ARO) dedicated to the planning, coordination, and conduct of clinical trials in gynecologic oncology. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Prague, the group operates a network of over 100 specialized centers across approximately 15 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. CEEGOG functions as a critical infrastructure for international collaborative studies, maintaining active membership in the European Network of Gynaecological Oncological Trial groups (ENGOT) and the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup (GCIG). The organization focuses on improving clinical outcomes for patients with ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers through high-quality Phase II and III trials. By bridging the gap between pharmaceutical sponsors and regional clinical sites, CEEGOG facilitates the development of novel therapeutic modalities, including PARP inhibitors and immunotherapies.
