Central Kansas Medical Center

Central Kansas Medical Center (CKMC) was a regional healthcare provider based in Great Bend, Kansas, with a history dating back to the early 20th century. Originally established as St. Rose Hospital by the Dominican Sisters, it evolved into a comprehensive medical center offering acute care, surgical services, and emergency medicine. In 2011, the facility began a transition from a full-service hospital to an outpatient-focused model under the name St. Rose Health Center. The organization was part of the Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) network before its assets were eventually integrated into the University of Kansas Health System. Today, the legacy of the center continues through the University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus.
