Central Laboratory for Veterinarians (CLV) was a premier veterinary diagnostic laboratory based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1982 by Dr. Sally Lester, the laboratory provided a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, including clinical and anatomic pathology, microbiology, and cytology, to the veterinary community in Western Canada. CLV achieved significant recognition as the first full-service veterinary diagnostic facility in North America to receive ISO 17025 accreditation, reflecting its commitment to high-quality standards and technical excellence. In December 2006, the company was acquired by IDEXX Laboratories, a global leader in animal health diagnostics, and its operations were subsequently integrated into the IDEXX network. The laboratory was well-regarded for its expertise in specialized veterinary testing and its contributions to animal health in the region prior to its acquisition.
